  1. Your rose liqueur looks incredible – what a perfect pairing with the lemony semolina cookies. I’m going to have to learn how to make that liqueur!

    Krista, it is the easiest of all.
    1 1/2 cups Everclear
    1 1/2 cups 80 proof Vodka
    3 cups Sadaf Rose Syrup
    Done

  2. I thought the cookies were a little salty, but what you have to wash them down with would probably counteract it. Read about the tornadoes in MO, and was immediately concerned about you, but remembered Joplin is a ways away (250 miles), and was less worried (but only a little). Hope you and yours are fine.

    Thanks for your thoughts Brad. Yes, Joplin is far enough away. But, the season has just started, so I’m not in the clear yet.

  3. Gotta be honest, the rose wasn’t one of my favorites. I think it’s more of a color thing than anything else, only because the color reminds me of cough medicine.
    Deborah responds: I know what you mean. And a lot of people can’t get past the smell either. We westerners just aren’t all that used to viewing flowers as a food item.
