The Life Cycle of a Lobster Dinner — 9 Comments

  1. Oh that is such torture seeing photos of the Maine Lobster. That has to be the food I miss the most after moving away from the Boston area. I didn’t even think about Scotland having good seafood. Lucky you!! Enjoy!

  2. The lobster looks amazing! The mussels look good also, but I can’t say that about the barnacles. I didn’t even know they were eaten.
Have a wonderful time on your trip! I’m sure you will. Can’t wait to hear about it after your return. How long are you going for?

  3. Oh simply wonderful pictures, we really need to take a trip to lobsterland, I keep saying.

  4. Hi Deborah, great photos. The lobster looks very delicious. I’ve been reading that Scotland has great seafood as well.
Enjoy the delicious seafood at the Temple Seafood restaurant. I haven’t exactly worked out my itineray yet for later in the year, but your trip planning thread has been very helpful and inspiring to me!
Safe travels and have a wonderful trip to Scotland!

  5. Deborah, a very interesting post with great photos. Have a wonderful time in Scotland. Can’t wait to hear all about it. That first photo threw me for a loop…it looks like some foot of a dinosaur!
Deborah responds: Yes, Barb. Everyone says that. In fact. I did a blog entry last year called “Dinosaur Toes”
