YouTube of Last Night’s Valentine Party
Again this year, we went to Viviano’s Festa Italiano, our little local Italian Deli/Market for a very fun, funky Valentine’s Day party.
This is NOT your average romantic evening for two. This is a rowdy, happy gathering of our little community’s Italian’s and (like Dan and I) “wanna-be” Italians. Its about food, wine, fun, & singing.
Here is my favorite of the four videos I took last night!

I’ll post more pictures later, but, here is one taken of Dan and I at the END of the evening. That bottle of A.Mano was empty, as you can tell by the glazed look in our eyes.
That looks like you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day. Viviano’s looks like fun.
Sounds like a fun night out.
I watched the video and loved it. Everyone looks like they are having a great time.
What fun!! Did the group practice first? Loved all the clapping. I cracked up when I saw the look on the girl’s face (the girl sitting at the table with the white sweater).
Deborah responds: Nope, no practicing. Who needs practice when you have wine? Yeah, the little girls were thrilled, weren’t they?
Fun! And I LOVE AMano!
Deborah responds: Annie — funny story about A.Mano…
In 2006 when we were in Puglia, we stopped at a ceramic studio to poke around. The owner was a very fun guy. You know, the kind who just won’t let you walk out the door because he likes to visit. Anyway, as he was wrapping up our purchases, I noticed a brochure on the counter for A.Mano. I commented that that was my favorite everyday wine, and I bought it at my local deli on a regular basis. Without a word, he picked up the telephone and dialed a number. After a rapid fire conversation in Italian where I only understood about every 5th word, he stuck the phone to my ear and I found myself chatting with, Elvezia Sbalchiero, the woman who owns A.Mano. along with a transplanted Californian, Mark Shannon.
Oh Deborah, that looks light such a fun night! I love those little local places.
