As we arrived in Paso, we stopped for supplies. Mostly water. Then we met Shannon at the cottage. Everyone staying at the cottage settled in and began to prepare for about 25 of the group to arrive for the first night of festivities.
The Mac & Cheese smack down was a blast. All four versions were delicious in different ways. But my favorite was David’s Duck Fat Fried Mac & Cheese Squares. YUMMMMMYYYYY!
Later that evening, we played blackjack. On the last hand, I got a pair of aces. So I split. Then got blackjack on BOTH hands! Shannon was after me, and got a blackjack as well. We broke the bank. Too bad we weren’t playing for real money.
