Three things I learned from my father.
1- Money is a tool, not a religion.

Three things I learned from my mother.
1- Women are stronger than men.
2- You are never too old for adventure.
3- Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Three things I learned from my sister/brother. (I have no sisters, and I have three brothers. So, I’ll list one thing I learned from each.)
1- Loyalty is everything.
2- When people are different, they need your love and acceptance more.
3- There really are people with pure hearts.
Three things I learned from teachers.
1- Dick and Jane were boring kids.
2- Math is more fun when you make up your own rules.
3- You don’t really start learning until you stop going to school.
Three things I learned from my spouse.
1- Opposites really do attract.
2- Family is everything.
3- Separate interests are as important as shared interests in a marriage.
Three things I learned from my best friend.
1- Take care of the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves.
2- Dogs are Mother Nature’s favorite creation.
3- Trust someone until he proves he can’t be trusted.
Three things I wish everyone would learn from me.
1- Don’t waste a moment worrying about something you can’t do anything about.
2- It is easier to be happy than it is to be unhappy, and everyone has the power to choose to be happy.
3- Take every opportunity to turn a stranger into a friend.
