  1. The title of this post cracked me up 🙂 I can’t even manage the Sunday Slow Suppers (or whatever is on this time) so I’d crash and burn pretty quick on this challenge, I’m afraid! Is fun to read everyone else’s stories though.

  2. Now that sounds like fun! But I hope there are a fair number of cooks in your book club, to share the workload!

  3. I have read her book Amacord and found her to be an amazing personality.
This cooking venture sounds like fun!
I have started my first batch of limoncello. It will help to pass the time while everyone else is in San Diego!

  4. OOOH I think I own that book. Please don’t reel me in. Can you see me covering my eyes.
Deborah responds: Awe, comeon, Jan. It’s going to be a real challenge.

  5. I really enjoyed Amarcord, and think your book group’s challenge is going to be an amazing adventure. This is where I like to live vicariously.

  6. Cool. There are a least two other food blogging out there working through that cookbook. I was wanting to join in but I don’t own the cookbook. I guess I’ll need to hit a Borders while I am down here.
